When my daughter was a toddler, she loved to play with blocks.
We’d dump the whole basket onto the floor and get to work building “towers”.
The goal was always height, not stability. Because if you’ve ever played blocks with a toddler you know the fun is not in the building. The fun happens when everything comes crashing down.
That’s the best part.
Stopping the Run
When it comes to your Run Defence, however, you don’t want things to crumble.
You need a great foundation.
And in Canadian football, that foundation starts with your schemes and techniques versus Inside and Outside Zone.
This must be the starting point.
It’s impossible to scheme against Powers, Counter, Traps, Iso Runs, etc. if you don’t first master the Zone Runs.
That’s why I created the Defending Zone Runs Super Clinic. After going through this two-hour video series you will have everything you need to develop your plan.
